In conjuction of the Third Scientific Congress of APSID that took place in 8th- 9th February 2020, Dr. Zarina Thasneem Zainudeen was delighted to join as the delegate and poster presenter.

The poster presented was entitled ‘Flow Cytometric Analysis for Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases: A family study of Chronic Granulomatous Disease children in Malaysia. The event that took place in Chandigarh, India was hosted by the Department of Paediatrics, Advanced Pediatric Centre, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. Delegates for the event include residents, research fellows, consultants and practicing clinicians who have a special interest in primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs).

The programme includes didactic lectures and panel discussions on various PIDs, infections, vaccination in PIDs, use of immunomodulators, intravenous immunoglobulins, and monoclonal antibodies, utility of flow cytometry and genetic tests in PIDs, and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation in PIDs.
